As such, her work reflects a distinctive perspective. Rather than only imparting relationship-based teachings and tools, she also supports clients in unearthing the cultural, historical, and formative patterns that quietly shape how they give and receive love.

Joyice hosts For Love’s Sake, a podcast committed to love and legacy. Her work has been featured by The Black Bachelorette, Single Wealthy Mommy, Shoutout Atlanta, and Bold Magazine. Locally, she collaborates with organizations like UPC’s Dating in the District, CarpeDM, Metro Ties, and Thursday Network. As a speaker and scholar, she regularly presents her award-winning relationship and family research at national and international conferences. In 2026, she will speak on her research, “REF Debt: How Structural Racism Shapes Black Romantic Relationship” at the American Psychological Association Convention in Washington, D.C. Last year, she presented at the American Educational Research Association (Denver, CO, April 2025) and the Relationship-Centered Education Network (Maynooth, Ireland, June 2025).
